ONEP started the way most honest tools do: an engineer who spent twenty years around networks got tired of watching brilliant people lose their evenings to plumbing — hunting disk images on forums, guessing whether a download was genuine, rebuilding the same topology for the fifth time.
The fix wasn't another emulator. Emulation is a solved problem. The unsolved problems were trust (what am I actually running?), speed (why does setup take days?), and access (why does this need an expert?). ONEP answers all three: a cryptographically verified image catalog, one-click deployment of complete environments, and an AI that builds what you describe.

Identity by hash, not by filename. If we can't prove what an image is, we say so — the green seal has to mean something.
